The Humber Alliance on Tobacco is a multi-agency partnership established in 1995.  We cover Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North and North East Lincolnshire.
Membership in the Alliance include: Local Authorities, NHS Family and Yorkshire ASH (ASH has a web site could we link to? www.ash.org.uk)
Our aim is to protect and promote the health and well being of our communities by co-ordinating projects and initiatives aimed at reducing the impact of tobacco and promoting non-smoking the norm.
Halt delivers tobacco control measures supporting the implementation of Smoking Kills the Government White Paper (could this link to a report or part of a report that is our response to the White Paper) and is an independent voice through which to lobby and raise awareness about current issues.
