HALT is a multi agency partnership with a holistic approach to tackling the public health issues of tobacco

The Hull Teaching Primary Care Trust has made a commitment to make this website accessible. This site is working towards See it Right accreditation from the RNIB.

The site is also working towards conformance to Double-A of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 1.0 (WVAG 1.0), including all Priority 1 and Priority 2 and some Priority 3 checkpoints as defined in the Guidelines.

Navigation

There is one main navigation menu and screen reader users can 'skip' these navigation links by using 'skipnav'.

Layout

Text is laid out using style sheets which conform to RNIB See it Right standards. Users can change the style sheets in their browsers to make viewing easier for their individual requirements. The document standard used is XHTML 1.0 Transitional.

HALT is a highly regarded, multi agency Alliance working to reduce smoking prevalence and therefore health inequalities. The area has some of the highest smoking prevalence rates in the country for young people and adults, however HALT is committed through effective partnership working and the development and delivery of innovative and successful interventions to reverse this trend.
